Als Gitarrist war ich vor mehr als 15 Jahren auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Gitarrensound. Und damit wird klar, daß Gitarrensound weit mehr bedeutet als nur der Ton. Neben meiner beruflichen Karriere bis zum Meisterbrief als Kfz-Techniker mit eigenem Unternehmen optimierte ich über viele Jahre in jeder freien Minute Schritt für Schritt nicht nur mein Recording-Equipment, sondern sammelte auch in tausenden von Stunden Studioarbeit ein immenses praktisches Wissen über Sounds, in dem ich akribisch den Klang von Mikrofonen, Gitarrenamps und Speakern erkundete. Diese jahrelange Erfahrung ist mir in Fleisch und Blut übergegangen – zu jedem gewünschten Sound habe ich die passende Kombination aus Mikrofon, Amp und Speaker parat.

Nach den ersten Recordings habe ich früh meine Vorliebe für das Gitarren Re-Amping entdeckt, und mich in diesem Bereich weiter spezialisiert. Nach zahlreichen erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeiten mit vielen Musikern und Produzenten entschied ich mich nach Erreichen des break even und bei dauerhaft anhaltender Auftragslage im Studio, mein Kfz-Unternehmen zu verkleinern, um mich noch ambitionierter dem Re-Amping und Recording widmen zu können. Seit November 2013 bin ich Endorser der Firma THC Amplification.

Partner des Studios ist Kalle Knecht, der als Soundengineer, Artist und Produzent die Produktpalette abrundet. Daher sind wir inzwischen in der Lage, neben den bekannten Guitar Recordings auch komplette Musikproduktionen anbieten zu können.

Being a guitarist, for more than 15 years I was in search of the perfect guitar tone. And so, it is evident that a guitar sound is much more than just the tone. In addition to my professional career up to the master craftsman certificate as an automotive technician with a private company, I optimized over many years, in every free minute, step by step my recording equipment.  I also invested in thousands of hours of studio work, as well as gathering an immense practical knowledge of sounds. I explored very meticulously the sound and characteristics of microphones, guitar amps and speakers. These years of experience is second nature to me in flesh and blood – for any desired sound I have the right combination of microphones, amplifiers and speakers ready.

After my firstrecordings I discovered early that I had a preference for guitar re-amping, and would specialize in this area. After numerous successful collaborations with many musicians and producers I decided after reaching the break-even point and durable lasting situation in the studio, to reduce my automotive company in order to devote myself to the more ambitious re-amping and recording undertaking. Since November 2013 I am an endorser of the company THC Amplification.
